HOW TO TAKE NOTES
Learning how to take good notes takes a lot of practice. Here are some tips
Give yourself general subheadings such as GOVERNMENT, HISTORY, ECONOMY
Only note material that is relevant to your topic or sub topic
Use dot points
Leave space or a line between each point. This makes it easier to read, as well as allowing room to add more information.
Points should be no longer than a line. abbreviate.
Use different colours to separates sections because your brain responds to space and colour.
Use abbreviations that you can understand.
If handwriting, use pencil so that you can easily make changes if necessary.
Record Information in Note Form. Avoid writing sentences.
Record details about the book, or internet site in your bibliography.
